*Originally a sort of concept album developed by Phil Ranelin and Wendell Harrison, after gathering a large handful of musicians who were active in the Detroit music scene in the early 1970's. Wendell played with Sun Ra in the 60's and later went on to start several other music labels post-session work.I had just heard a remix of the second track "Vibes from the Tribe" at holygrailers that was off the wall, so I decided to do a little research.
